Tonight, the City of Hanceville had the honor of recognizing Hanceville Elementary School as one of the Top 25 Most Improved Schools in the State of Alabama, with an incredible 16-point increase in just one year. That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident; it’s the result of hard work, strong leadership, dedicated teachers, and students who are rising to the challenge.
We were also proud to recognize Lauren Bentley, who was recently named Cullman County Elementary Teacher of the Year. This is a well-deserved honor and a reflection of the impact she makes in the classroom every single day.
Our schools are a vital part of our community, and achievements like these show what Hanceville is capable of when we work together. Congratulations to the faculty, staff, students, and families who made this possible. We are proud of you.
